My finger is still on the mend, but rather than another week of silence, I’m going to share yet another one of the many strips I’ve created that never went anywhere. It’s a silent, all-ages strip called “Mr. Zimby”. There are 6 in total, so there will be something new to look at every day this week.
I had the idea for the first strip (which is running today) last year. I drew it up and posted it on the old site, but never did anything with it. I went back to the idea recently (changing the character design slightly) and drew a week’s worth. I pitched the idea around, but had no takers.
I like the old-fashioned look of it, and simple gags. Like something from the 50s.
