I created a new comic called Nelson a few months ago as an experiment to see if I could fit an entire comic strip on a single iPhone screen. The result being a strip you could read quickly without having to flip through panels with a reader.
I’m not sure how well the format works, but I liked the gags and characters I came up with. I have 24 samples posted on a new page. Just click HERE or on the new button in the menu bar to take a peek.

Neat idea Norm! I like the character. It certainly presents some interesting challenges, and it makes sense to cater to the format. Don’t forget that the iPhone can automatically adjust to horizontal when turned, but I think you might be right in choosing vertical.

I like Nelson. I’d love to see more and I don’t even have an iphone. The format doesn’t bug me at all. It might make for a cute flip book later on.
