   I can’t help thinking that Gill is wondering if a pair of pants is BETTER or WORSE than the cheep, breakable plastic trinket his 2,345,623 tickets could have bought him at Cheesy Chester’s.

   My daughter made a similar face when one of the presents from grandma was a package of underwear. But that’s what grandmother’s do

   which makes me wonder if we will see Gill’s extended family someday?

   The look on Gill’s face while holding the pants is the best.

   Pants are NEVER a good gift to a kid …

   Underwear is acceptable if you are under 8 and they are Underoos.

   Of course when you become an adult and see how expensive clothes can be, then pants are great. I even like getting socks.

    Great use of the color page. You even got the photos to have that grainy, Polaroid look.

    Gill is still 8 … at least for now. I don’t think he’s going to age … certainly not in real time. It all depends on how the strip develops.
