Jrhather – I was wondering the same thing. It’s just that, in the past, Norm’s been good about announcing when he and Gil are going on hiatus. I can totally understand if he needs to devote all of his time to his paying gigs; I just wish he’d tell us.

Pile of leaves are dangerous. I remember when I was a kid I scooped some leaves with my hands, and ended up scooping cat dung. yuck!

Ha. Today was my school’s community service day where we go around to elderly and disabled people’s houses and rake their leaves. I was worried that there was a rake in the pile of leaves at one point when two people in my group jumped in since the rakes get covered so easy. (There wasn’t.) It was kinda spooky when I saw the same thing in this comic.

What kind of evil fiend would place the rake beneath the leaves of all places?

Actually, now I think about it, maybe Gill would do that. Because how is his mom supposed to make him rake when there is no rake? And how will she ever manage to find the rake without first raking the leaves off it, which she can’t do without the rake itself? The only problem is when he forgets and jumps on it…
