The scary part is, knowing human nature, I actually see where the boss is coming from on this…
I used to work for Tim Horton’s. They don’t give away garbage donuts, they don’t even discount them. They’re encouraged to ‘destroy’ them by pouring coffee grinds on them to discourage dumpster divers….
It kinda makes me sick.
I’ve been to stores where I have gotten discounts on damaged items.
They were small stores though, not big retail outlets.
I’ve worked at stores that offer discounts on damaged items. Wanna guess how many people I caught scratching, tearing and denting merchandise so they could demand a deep discount?
