See, the only job I had where we were required to upsell like mad was at a call center. Each call had three opportunities to upsell, and you had to do each one. And we were monitored.
The incentive was that for each successful upsell, you got a $1 bonus on your paycheck, assuming that your average call time was below a certain limit. Best I did was $40 in a week. I felt dirty…
